I do not have much to share of anything good about this Foster agency. I was throwing the program was actually their first to age out of this company when there first American location was in Mt Sterling Kentucky. Even though the company originally was found in Europe. This company provides unfit homes to families that are not ready to be foster familys nore parent figures. This company worked with dcbs with my case right before I turned 18. To put me in a unfit home with a very verbal and emotional abusive foster parent. When a child ages out of their program and wants to try to be their own person. This company throws all children teens more to the wolves you can say. With no life skills nore anything related to help teens survive on the outside world of this broken system. I survived it. More than 12 years since the company was founded. With only the memory and trauma from knowing our lives as teens are really nothing more but a check to this company. New laws now have went into effect for individuals such as myself at my age still. I suffer from PTSD due from neglect from this company and the dcbs cabinet. New laws will help more than just me and my situation from a broken system. It can make things right. My file and summary is still part of this. Companies records. And videos and more when I became a part of their program. From 2011. I would suggest seeing more than partying and celebrations this company holds. If you dig deeper you can find. Everything this company is and does. Just another system surviving off the children of the state. Silver spoons given workers believe their high up. Yet would never have the strength to survive real abuse that teens go through. Sad when someone can never forget what real pain feels like.

All three therapists that have worked with my child have been rude and two out of three are consistently 15-20 minutes late to every appointment. I wonder if having my kid meet with them is doing more harm than good…

Overall my experience with the company has been great! They work so hard for the youth and are extremely inclusive to staff and youth diversity. They literally celebrate anything, which is a great quality. The work can be overwhelming but with proper boundaries and self-care it’s an extremely rewarding job. It also provides great experience for anyone considering getting a degree or graduate level degree in mental health.
