- DFDella FayMar 12, 20262.0I was very disappointed in the care (or lack of) that I received from Dr. McKinney. I had initially seen a physician (Dr. Clark) in the Lagrange office regarding left knee pain and he did a very thorough assessment of my knee and ordered an xray which revealed severe tricompartmental osteoarthritis. This led to a follow up with ortho which I scheduled with Dr. McKinney. He did discuss my xray and suggested management techniques such as diet and anti-inflammatory medication. However, he failed to do any kind of assessment whatsoever. During our visit he never touched or looked at my knee. He did order some compound cream (that I pay for out of pocket) and that has helped somewhat; as he was exiting the room, he did turn around and asked if I could straighten my leg our for him! I also walked away with a knee brace that my insurance won't cover and I'm stuck with a bill for $115.00 with a third party company (DJO) that supplied the device. Sadly, I cannot use the brace because it intensifies my knee pain. The two stars here are for his assistance who was very professional and kind.
