  The 3 stars is for the doctors care. Dr Calvert is a very good, competant doctor. The lack of 5 stars is due to bookkeeping practices. UPDATE: Since this review, I have spoken to my secondary insurance. They have PAID the $50 plus any remaining service amount. I have yet to recieve reimbursment from Calvert Opthamology eventhough they have recieved it. Be prepared to pay a specialty copay whether or not you have secondary insurance. I have monthly Drs appts. My deductibles on medicare were already paid out earlier this year. My secondary pays ALL UNCOVERED COPAYS for medicare. i know this because they have paid all other copays, every month, for every doctor this year. I gave the front desk staff my insurance over the phone so they knew I had secondary insurance before my appt. A sign says copays are due before appt BUT (as stated above) I dont have copays on medicare due to my secondary ins. I was not told when I made the appt that I would be required to pay a copay THEY will be reimbursed for. I knew I would not need a 2nd appt so any money credited to my patient acct wont be used. I wont be back as a patient. I will only be back to get my $50 reimbursement. Im under poverty level and cant afford a $50 payment, even if its credited back 3 months from now.
