For the past week, there has been a mysterious brown liquid dripping from the ceiling in the mens locker room that leaves a horrid stench. Looks like it is coming from the sprinkler system. This issue seems to remain unaddressed, or members have not been informed of a fix, raising serious concerns about safety and hygiene. I visit this Y about 3-4 times a week, and every time I have been lately it is all over the walls, counter, and floor. It has been cleaned up maybe once and the mysterious liquid sometimes is wet meaning it is an ongoing issue. I have only noticed it here, but could possibly be in other locations throughout the building. Adding to the problems, the hallway to the men’s locker room from the pool looks like a disaster zone. There's an unbelievable amount of dust and debris in piles about an inch high. If I was walking around barefoot, I would not want to step anywhere near this stuff. Additionally there are marks all over the walls which does not look very welcoming. It's clear that cleaning and maintenance are not a priority. Based on the photos the conditions are unacceptable and create an unsanitary environment for members. The lack of attention to these issues is alarming. Maintenance needs to take immediate action to resolve these problems and ensure a clean, safe environment for everyone.
