  This is the first time going back to GNC in 10 years. Andrew was very helpful and friendly; knowledgeable about what the store sales! Me and my wife had a wonderful experience We will be back

  I stopped in to grab a quick drink because it was the closest option for what I was looking for. The gentleman working named Mason asked me how I was doing. I'm not the most talkative person. I acknowledged him said "fine thank you" and attempted to just go about what I was doing. He asked me more than once if I needed help (which I said plainly that I was fine) and stood entirely too close to me while doing so. He kept insisting on asking me questions even though I clearly was not interested in having that type of conversation with him. He kept asking me things about if I had plans today, when I said no he persisted again and said "oh not even the gym" I again just gave a short answer trying to finish my transaction and leave and he continued asking me more personal questions that I obviously was not in the mood to answer. It was pushy, it was uncomfortable, and frankly had I've been able to get the product I was purchasing at any other store within a couple miles I would have walked out. Part of customer service is being able to read your customer and understand what type of experience they're looking for. This was a horrific experience because Mason doesn't know how to talk to people. Customer service isn't just being fake nice and asking fun questions, customer service is providing the type of service that your customers wish to receive and in this case, I wanted a quick in and out. Say hello to me, acknowledge me, let me go about my business, say thanks and leave. I didn't go into the store to share details about my life with the man at the counter, who for some reason insisted on prying even when I very clearly did not wish to have that interaction with him.

  Went to gnc Wednesday 3/15/2023 around 430 pm to pick up Is magnesium and zinc in liquid form. The guy working the counter was on his phone oblivious to everything. Finally asked me what I was looking for. I told him and he said oh yeah we're out of that stuff. They were out of quite a few items. He never once responded Hey we've got this on order. It'll be in in a couple of weeks, doesn't say anything other than we're out. No wonder their closing stores.
