  I don't understand why there’s so many negative reviews, I’ve always had a wonderful experience here! The girls at the desk are always kind and Shelley has helped me so much.

  I thought they were a good place they gave me what I needed but then all of a sudden they didn't told me to pay what I owed and they would see me again but once I paid it they said they won't see me any more and so now in just stuck with no mental health mess they claim to care but they do t give a shot the front desk lady is shifty to everyone kept me on hold until I hung up the phone. I'm calling the bbb on them do not recommmend

  I cannot recommend this place less. Their receptionists are genuinely useless, and even their “building manager” is a witch of a person. I go here for medication management and have been since 2014, and they’ve gone down hill. I still see the same doctor and he’s wonderful, but he’s moved away from AFC and has his own staff so to not deal with their awful behavior. I wanted to try to see a therapist for DBT, a service i know they have people that offer as I received it when I was younger from one of their staff and my psychiatrist recommended them after my diagnosis, and after repeatedly trying to give me therapists that were not qualified to see me, ignoring me when I said what I needed to see someone for, finally the building manager lied to me and said no one offers that, when I know at least one person who does by name. When I corrected her and said he does, she snapped at me and said “well no one else does but him and he’s full.”. I understand he’s full, but to lie to me after not wanting to actually help me since your staff couldn’t be bothered to even once write down what it is I need is awful. Go here if you need basic therapy for the most basic issues like stress, but if you need actual help, go elsewhere. I just wanted to be seen for autism and emotional management. This place has gone to sh** and all the negative reviews are correct. Don’t listen to the nice ones someone probably got begged to post.

  Find somewhere else! You'll get dropped without warning!! I ASKED for Van Van to simply speak with my specialist for a neurological disorder I have. The specialist was ok with me being on a certain medication but wanted me monitored for psych side effects and therefore wouldn't prescribe it themselves. She dropped me for "demanding" medications, meds that ARE used in the mental health field I might add. So now I have to scramble to find another mental health provider. But that's probably for the best, she didn't bother to take a history on what medications I have been on. So everytime I came in, she kept trying to re-prescribe meds that haven't worked and I kept having to put my foot down that I didn't want them. Something that's hard to do, when you have anxiety.
