  Had an implant break randomly that Dr Martin had told me would last at least 10 years after only 2-3 years. Dr Martin went to town working on my issue and wasn’t able to remove the previous implant. He admitted after tearing my gums up and destroying my teeth and jaw enamel that he should have advised me to go to an oral surgeon prior but he made a mistake. Left a giant hole in my gums and a missing tooth that was so embarrassing I ended up quitting my job and struggling for 5 years. Future doctors said he placed the implant way too close for such a small position which caused the eventual break down. He charged me to have any temporary maintenance and then cut me off completely when I was extremely upset and refused to help me at all. I spent about 20 years of dental hell with this man who will operate on you without consent, concern, and without any repercussions or destroying my mouth and it will never be the same again. My gums are so destroyed from him trying to remove a faulty implant that he inserted in the first place, on top of miserable feelings of embarrassment from teeth related issues in general.

  First off all, my Husband goes to this Dentist & my Husband recommended this Dentist for our Daughter. My Daughter's Dentist is Dr. Pendleton & her school & work hours interfere with Dr. Pendleton's schedule. We made an appointment with this Dentistry for my Daughter to have her teeth cleaned. My Husband took my Daughter to her appointment, she got her tooth cleaned. Her appt. was @ 2pm she was done around 3pm. We sitting at the dinner table eating dinner & watching the 5pm news. My Husband receives a text @ 5:07 pm asking him if he by chance "PICKED UP" a purple retainer case from the room he was in My Husband shows me the text. First of all for this to be a professional Dentistry I wouldn't have text no patients asking them have they by chance picked up a purple retainer case from the room they were in. 2nd My Husband wasn't in the room he was in the lobby waiting on our Daughter to get done. My Daughter was in the room. 3rd Why would my Daughter pick up a retainer case that she doesn't need. She came there to get her teeth cleaned not to get retainers or a retainer container. 4th This let's me know that you didn't thoroughly clean the exam room before my Daughter went in the room. I am not only offended by the text you sent my Husband it's like you accused my Daughter of stealing. My Daughter doesn't have braces or wear retainers why would she need a retainer case. When a person picks up things that don't belong to them that is called theft & we don't steal. We are hard working African American citizens, yes hard working we work for everything we have. If your establishment doesn't want African Americans visiting your establishment why don't you put a White's Only sign on the door as well as on Google since that is how my Husband found this Dentistry. I promise you we will take our business elsewhere. Who ever sent the text from Martin Dentistry you should have sent a mass text to all the patients that visited today and asked them have the by chance picked up a purple retainer case that would have been more appropriate or better yet ASKED if they have by chance SAW a purple retainer case.

  Such a Wonderful group of people! Thank you Krista and Dr. J for a great experience ( how often do you hear that for a dental visit)! I feel so lucky to be part of their “ family : ~ )!
