At YogaSix, we're all about a full sensory yoga experience that is accessible to all. Each of the yoga classes we offer at YogaSix has a specific focus including: strength, agility, flexibility, balance, relaxation and overall wellness. Our classes are energizing, empowering, and fun! We deliver life-enhancing benefits through our six core classes: Y6 Mobility, Y6 Restore, Y6 Slow Flow, Y6 Signature, Y6 Power, and Y6 Sculpt & Flow. We are located In The Fountains shopping area on 119th st Street in between Nall Avenue and Metcalf Avenue. We are near Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory, Menorah Medical Center, and Walmart Supercenter. Our studio is just down the street from Tomahawk Park and I-Lan Park.

- CJChad JoyceFeb 22, 20265.0My wife has been a Yogi for years. Me, not so much. I was the guy that said "Yoga isn't really a workout." I played football in high school, lift regularly, and was running 3 miles a day 5 times a week. After going to YogaSix for a month and a half now, I'm here to tell you - YOGA IS NO JOKE! As a guy, I get it. I didn't want to concentrate on breath work, work on balance, pose in downward facing dog, try to decode what the heck Trikonasana means, or go around saying "the light in me sees the light in you." Well, at least I didn't...until I did. This is literally the greatest thing and studio I have ever found. The teachers are AMAZING. Sure, I'll name them: Christi, Alicia, Andie, Maria, Kelly, Travis, Ashley, Jenny, Samantha, Tracie, and Dani. I've taken classes from all of them and they are ALL fantastic. One class with either Alicia, Maria, or Jenny and you'll know you haven't been working out hard enough. Take a class with Christi, Andie, Kelly, or Samantha - they'll prove you know nothing about balance or flexibility. And then, if you want to save your soul from leaving your body and come back down to earth, Travis, Ashley, Tracie, and Dani will bring you back down with their restore and slow flow. I have been absolutely shocked at the progress and strength that I have built in just a short time. And, outside of getting absolutely MERKED on a daily basis, this is the best community that you could ever find. Not only are the teachers full of gratitude and compassion, but the classes are filled with amazing people who you will soon be calling "friends." To the entire staff at YogaSix Overland Park, a million "thank you's" could never be enough for what you've shown me over the last month and a half. Your spirit, your love, and your encouragement has refreshed my mind, body, and soul. The light in me sees the light in you. Namaste.
