Atticus, the great frame fitter gave me an outstanding experience. Before my glasses were even ordered, he carefully assessed my face shape and nose structure to make sure the fit would prevent slipping. That level of attention to detail and professionalism is exactly what I was hoping for.
I previously paid more for glasses elsewhere and constantly struggled with them sliding down my nose. Atticus is a really great fitter and clearly understands how proper fitting from the start makes all the difference.
I truly appreciate the time, precision, and kindness he showed. I’m really looking forward to picking up my new glasses!
I picked up my new glasses and they're feeling so comfortable, I might accidentally fall asleep with them on! That's a good thing for me! I always can't wait to take my glasses off at home, so this is a BIG plus!
Update 2/28 Christopher with the Sweatervest and Johnathan, the soft spoken, was very helpful to adjust my glasses each time I came in! I absolutely LOVE my Ray-Ban prescription glasses! They're metal and lightweight which makes them feel effortless and very comfortable.
A bonus, they're subtle and classic chic!

We've had multiple good experiences with this LensCrafters location. Today we needed an emergency repair to my wife's eyeglasses. Lane jumped on it right away and saved the day.
Thank you Lane!!

I went in Saturday after having a bad experience with EyeMart Express in Olathe (they screwed up my order). So after demanding a refund from EyeMart Express, I went to LensCrafters and found both Christopher and Lester to be super helpful. Then today I went back and ordered my new glasses. Christopher was knowledgeable and professional, and I'm eager to get my glasses in a couple of weeks. My confidence level that they will fill the prescription correctly is much higher than it would be if I was going back to EyeMart Express and trying to get them to "make it right" after they'd already screwed it up. I have every confidence that LensCrafters will get it right the first time. And the optician next door, Dr. Andy, was great, too. Highly recommend him, as well.

Laine assisted me purchase glasses today and did a wonderful job providing recommendations, but without overstepping or hovering. Laine then ran my insurance quickly and was transparent about what coverage I would have available, and assisted me in purchasing what I wanted and helped me feel comfortable. The whole process was smooth and easy. Signed, someone who has worn glasses their whole life and also someone who never writes Google reviews.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
