    I never realized how much of a scam PF is as a company. I had been needing to cancel my membership for a while. I recently saw a charge of $42.12 on my bank account. I wanted to call PF to see if I could get this refunded and to cancel my membership. Thursday at 3pm I called and spoke to Jessica and asked to speak to the manager and she said that he had already gone home for the day. I told her why I was wanting to speak to him and she said not to waste my time and call ABC Financial. The entire time speaking to her she had a sarcastic attitude. I told her that she can cut the attitude and she hung up on me. I called back and the phone rang for about 45 seconds until a guy answered the phone. He said that the manager will be in tomorrow. I called ABC Financial and they transferred me several times and then eventually said "you'll have to go into the physical location and deal with them". I looked on PF's website for any kind of contact information and there is absolutely nothing on there. No 1-800 number or even an email address. Friday I called at 9 am and spoke to a guy and asked for the manager and he stated that he is in meetings all day and he'll be back at 1, but will leave at 2pm for the day. At 1:30 pm I called and got a hold of the manager. I told him about Jessica and asked him about getting a refund for the $42.12? He said to call ABC Financial and they will take care of it. I told him that I had already done that and they said to deal with my local office. He then changed his tone and asked me to prove where they had deviated from the contract. He also said to "have my legal team contact him" and hung up. I called back a second time and said that I was not done talking to him and he said "it takes two people to have a conversation and I am done". He then said to have the Better Business Bureau contact him and hung up a second time. I'm out $42 and it's not the end of the world. The main reason I am writing this review is because I did not realize how much of a deceptive company this is until now. Their website has zero contact information, ABC Financial comes off as a complete scam and lastly how the manager acts on the phone.

    I scheduled a personal fitness class to get help with knowing what to do at the gym because I’ve never really worked out. My appointment was at 5:30pm. When I got there, the girl asked me to fill out this paper and she went into the back to get someone named Dan. When she came back up, she told me he’d be with me In a little bit. I waited for 45 minutes until 6:15 PM before finally going back up to the desk. I asked her if I did something wrong by scheduling an appointment online instead of in person and she said no you did everything right. I told her i didn’t understand why I was still waiting 45 minutes later and that I didn’t have time to continue to wait when It was supposed to be an hour thing from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. She offered me no excuses and couldn’t tell me what Dan was doing or if he was even in the building, she just told me multiple times “I’m sorry I don’t know what happened”. She took the paper I filled out and said maybe he will call me and try to schedule something with me. I am very disappointed. I thought planet fitness was a great place for beginners to go. I was super excited to get a workout plan but I guess not. To not even give me some sort of excuse or explanation is ridiculous. You don’t make someone wait for 45 minutes and not even give any explanation and just say I’m sorry I don’t how what happened. I never even saw the guy. Maybe he was playing hooky on the clock I don’t know. All I know is it was completely unprofessional.
