I called up there to see when one of my prescriptions would be ready I was told 15 to 30 minutes 45 minutes later I went there to get my refill and was told it would be another hour. I’ve been using this pharmacy for the last year or so now and it’s always something

I got to the drive-thru at 5:58
PM—before closing—and waited my turn in the second lane. After the truck in the first lane finished it was 6:01 PM, I had already sent my card in to try and speed up the process. The tech immediately said, “We’re closed,” and sent my card back.
I explained this was pain medication for my 10-year-old after a tonsillectomy and was told, “I can’t help you.” Even through I had already tried to get the medication ration once and told to come back within 30 minutes, but apparently that didn’t matter either.
This could have been handled with basic compassion and common sense. Very frustrating experience take your business elsewhere.

I recently moved and have tried to transfer my prescriptions from another Dillon’s to this one. Getting them to fill something my doctor sends in takes a week and 3 phone calls. I have requested my auto-fill prescriptions be transferred twice and they still haven’t been transferred. They were cancelled at the old location but somehow aren’t at this location now. When I ask for an explanation I get attitude and half-assed excuses.

I have filled my sons' ADHD stimulant medications at various Dillons pharmacies, including Andover, for several years without issue. I say various Dillons pharmacies because there have been medication shortages for the last 2 years which have resulted in me having to utilize locations all around Wichita, Maize, and Andover. Today I received a call from the pharmacist (Cole) saying he refused to fill my sons' prescriptions because he thinks they are on too high a dose, nevermind that we go to our psychiatrist monthly. I know that legally he is allowed to use his professional judgment when deciding to fill a prescription, but it really bothered me that he made this judgment without asking any questions of me or our doctor. One of my sons has been on this medication and dose for over 2 years and suddenly Cole decides it's too much? Why not at least warn us this was the last prescription he would approve to give us time to figure out an alternative. Or give us a weeks' supply since my sons' cannot attend school without their meds. ADHD is a real medical condition and should be treated as such.

Unacceptable! Was told my medicine would be ready in 20. Went home, and came back an hour and a half later, then it was 25 more minutes. Finally someone tells me they are out of my medicine. I would have to have my doctor send it to another store since it was an escript, which would have been fine had they told me the first time I came, When the Dr was still in his office!!! They tried to blame it on power surges, but the person should have told me they were out the first time I was there. Then I could have had time to transfer it! You need to be able to depend on your pharmacy, and after today this place has proven it's ANYTHING but!! No thanks, and never again!
