Indiana Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates (IOMSA) is one of the largest groups of oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the United States. The combined experience of all our surgeons represents over 200 years of practice. Our size allows us to keep a doctor on call at all times for emergency care, but we will always strive to keep your care with one primary surgeon. Many of our doctors are attending surgeons at the Level 1 Trauma Center at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, and are attending teaching staff affiliated with the Indiana University School of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. All oral surgeons in our practice are required to obtain and maintain certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

- BPBianca PettigrewMar 16, 20265.0I was so nervous to get my extraction I wanted to cancel but Dr. Kirkup and his assistant were so nice and explained everything as they did it to make me feel comfortable it was a very fast process and painless for the most part just pressure.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed and the entire experience could not have gone better. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, efficient, and reassuring. They explained everything clearly, kept us informed throughout the process, and made sure my son felt comfortable and cared for. The surgery and recovery went incredibly smoothly, and we felt supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr. Kirkup and his team to anyone needing oral surgery.

Karly was TOP NOTCH, even taking the time to talk to us about her job as a dental assistant as my daughter is in college and trying to land on what she wants to do. PERFECT "bedside" manner. Dr. Schier himself was great as well, very professional, very calm, and focused. His "bedside" manner was equally as Perfect. Karly and Dr. Scheir made a great team and provided exceptional service. Would highly recommend and choose them again for any oral surgeries needed in the future!
