Originally, a hospice was a place of shelter and rest for weary and sick travelers. Today, it is associated with a philosophy of providing compassionate care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses. At Good Samaritan Hospice, our hope is that we can offer comfort and dignity to the patient, family and caregiver at some deep level during their time of need.
Since some patients prefer to be at home, Good Samaritan Hospice delivers supportive care through home visits. In addition, services are also available to patients in nursing facilities and in our uniquely designed in-patient suites at Good Samaritan.
