  Took my elderly mother to see Dr. Qi. He was very thorough. His diagnosis saved her from continuing vision loss due to AMD. Her vision is much improved after cataract surgeries. Both surgeries were uneventful. Dr Qi is very professional.

  Visited for the first time in early 2025, the wait time to be seen was over 30 minutes however, it was the first visit so I figured it was just a busy day. I spent well into 2.5hours there, from start to finish. The majority of the visit is sit and wait. I had to return with my child for a contact fitting a few weeks later, and again waited around a half an hour after checking in for the appt. At that point, it was confirmed this is a pattern and not a one off. After a few months I had to return to have the contacts/prescription check up for my child, with yet another lengthy & wait well past my appt time. At the 30 minute mark of waiting I decided I’m done having my time disrespected so I got up and let the front desk personnel know I’d need a school note for my kid and to cross me off the check-in list. At that time the front desk personnel apologized for the lengthy wait and said she’d check in and see what could be taking so long. A member came out from the back and said “are you leaving or staying?” The tone what accompanied that statement was the final straw for me. No apology or accountability for the wait time. I asked for the office managers contact number and left. After calling and leaving a voicemail, the office manager called me to try and smooth the situation over and confirmed the lengthy wait time for the last 3 visits. Said they should never be this long. He offered to make it right but I thanked him for this time and said no thanks. They provided a year supply of contacts so hopefully they’ll get it together by the time a refill is needed. Well, fast forward to today’s visit for a refill on contacts for my child. Appt was at 8am, signed in by 8:00am And wasn’t called back til about 8:29am. One of the techs asked for my child to take their contacts off for a check, to which I stated he would need to use these contacts for the remainder of the day, after the appt. The tech Carrie then said, “we will not continue the appointment if they aren’t taken off” Again the tone and disrespect is way too frequent. Instead of going back and forth with Carrie, I simply asked for the office manager that happened to be Evan, again. I asked Evan for a contact case + solution for my child to be able to preserve/use the contacts for the remainder of the school day. I pointed out to Evan that Carrie really missed the mark on providing solutions regarding patient care. Evan was apologetic and super helpful. He has great de-escalation skills and seeks results. I get that everyone has bad days at work, however this is a frequent pattern at this location. I will be transitioning my child from this establishment due to the disrespectful wait times + plus staff.

  From the young lady who greeted me, to Jasmine who did the visual exam, an EXCELLENT job, to Dr Lewis who is smart, informative & warm in her exam & explanations to Roseanna who checked me out - ALL SUPERIOR !!! A great experience as a new patient. Thank you ALL !!!

  Dr. Qi was fantastic to work with. Prompt procedure with no issues. Highly recommend him for cataract surgery!

  I highly recommend this practice to handle your eye care needs. I have been a loyal patient for more than a decade. I will continue to trust them with my eye health. I have a complex eye condition but I have been able to find great relief and easily applicable interventions under Dr. Natalia A. Chramiec's exceptional care. My condition is stable because we have been able to find solutions that work for me. I have also had to the great fortune of being a patient of Dr. Joanna Gebhardt, Dr. Luciana M. Petitti, and Dr. Stephan Kossis during their time at Munster Eye Care Associates, P.C. These eye care professionals have all provided me with exceptional care. In addition to having great doctors at the practice, I have had outstanding care from the entire staff. Laura does an amazing job at listening to the patients and taking our concerns / compliments into consideration. Monique always offers a warm smile. The staff have great attitudes and offer great care. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Jasmine for the first time. She was so warm, kind, and inviting even though I was having a challenging morning. She positively influenced my day and my life with her kindness, sincerity, and understanding. She blew me away in the best way possible. I am so grateful for this practice, their phenomenal patient care, and commitment to accessibility. Over the years, I have had both private insurance and state insurance while receiving services at this MECA. I am blown away by their commitment providing amazing care regardless of your situation. I trust them with my vision and highly recommend them for routine eye care and more complex needs. 💛💛
