  I would give it a zero if I could. There is an utter lack of urgent care for children in this community. I have a sick child. Isn’t the whole idea behind our current healthcare system to avoid the expense of the ER, dont needsly take up beds at the ER? Aren’t we supposed to go to urgent care? I thought so. 1. IU health urgent care on Tillotson. Oh this is a good one. They were open for 2 more hours but they couldn’t possibly see one more patient because of “all” the patients in the waiting room. There were 6-8 people in the lobby. 2. IU Riley Pediatricians on tillotson do not have a walk in urgent care clinic. That is somewhat bothersome. 3. Meridan Prime time. Well, no doctor on duty tonight. What? You run an afterhours pediatric clinic. So, had to go to the ER. Utterly ridiculous. The lack of professionalism at the IU urgent care is repulsive. The utter lack of pediatric urgent care in this town is frustrating at a minimum. I will say the nurses and Dr. in the ER were great. Thank you.

  I was told my family doctor office IU Family Residency Center to take my son to IU Urgent Care so he have imaging done instead of taking him to the ER. So we get there and he explains what going on for 20 minutes to the nurse and then the NP comes in and he has to explain everything to her as well and she tells us they don’t have imaging equipment and tells me to take him to the ER. Seriously?😡

  I went in on a Sunday morning because I had done something to my had wrist area. They sent me to the hospital for xrays and I had it xrayed at 10:30am. I didn't hear anything that day even though I call a half hour from closing. Got a notification Monday morning if I was pleased with my visit. I remarked I had not got any results. They called me at 9am stated they would call me within a couple of hours. Now iys Wednesday at 5pm and the dr still has not read my results. I ask what DAY I could assume she would get to it and was told just when she opens it and decides to read it. This place is a joke!!!!

  I came in and was took through the intake process before the woman in line in front of me. During my assessment, i seen that i was weighed in kg. I stated that i needed to know what it was in Lbs. My question was ignored. I asked for a Covid test. During the swab, the nurse only swabbed inside both of my nostrils. I asked her why she did not go all the way back into my sinuses. She stated that they didnt need to do that anymore and the amount she did was enough now. My doctor, Ahmad, came in and asked me about my symptoms. I told him runny nose and loss of sense of taste. He checked my ears and throat and left. When he came back, he handed me paperwork saying i had a sinus infection. I was able to read it before he told me that I was negative for Flu A and B as well as Covid. I do not understand why i was tested for Flu A and B when i only asked for the test for Covid. I took a moment before i left and did a little research about a sinus infection causing loss of taste. It did not list that symptom. I walked into the hallway, waited a minute, said, loudly, "Hello". A nurse, at the station down the hallway poker her head out and said hello back. I came down the hallway a bit and asked to speak with the Doctor i seen. He immediately came out. I asked him if loss of sense of taste was a symptom of a sinus infection. He said yes. I said that my research, done through Google Search Engine AI, disagreed with him. Both he and the nurse laughed at me. I walked away angry. They started talking and i heard the words "he is an idiot". I yelled back " know google is not a doctor but at least wait until i leave to talk shit about me." I am very displeased with their manners.

  Receptionist was very rude! Doctor and Nurse were both great. I was seen at about 9am was sent to the hospital for an X-ray. I called at 1pm because I hadn’t heard anything with the results was told by the rude receptionist that the doctor would call me with the results before the end of the day. I called again at 5:30 because I still hadn’t heard anything and the so wonderful same receptionist let me know that the doctor was busy seeing patients and if she hasn’t called me yet then she doesn’t have the results and that it may be tomorrow. I then told her they close at 6 and what happens if my injury is broke . She proceeded to let me know that they just must not have the results back yet and she can’t give me any results it has to be the doctor.
