  We were recommended Home Instead for my 97 old mother. Since September, she has been very happy with her Care Pro, Brittany. Brittany is a good match, which is so important for someone with memory loss issues. She has daily connections and communication and a routine with Brittany's assistance. This gives me peace of mind.

  We’ve simply had the most wonderful experience with one particular home health caregiver Laura. She is not just a caregiver to my grandfather. She has made it possible for him to stay home and be comfortable in his own home. She’s more like family than a caregiver and I would suggest her to anybody that is looking for fabulous care.

  Home Instead is a quality operation with client focused people across their office departments but caregiving operations are nothing without quality caregivers. My father’s Home Instead caregiver, Laura, is as good as they get and I’ve been exposed to many. She goes above and beyond in all areas and is never idle. When she was not occupied addressing my dad’s needs, she would tidy up and clean around the house. Laura bonded closely with dad and the entire family right away to create a great rapport, like one of the family. Can’t say enough about her. A real pro!

  From the grateful kids of one of your clients. . . Just wanted to express our appreciation to each of our dad’s Home Instead Caregivers. . . LEILANI- She has always been willing to fill in for shifts whenever we’ve needed her without complaint. She was there when our dad was having a mini stroke (we found out later from his nurse what this was), and responded with quick thinking and got him in a safe position, and proceeded to assess things. She called me over right away (I just happened to be in the home at that time), and was very detailed in her observations and communicated them well both to me and later at my request, to his nurse. Also, my brother was there during a time when she was caring for more of his personal needs, and said she did it very professionally. Thank you Leilani for all you do! SHAYLA- She is also, so professional in all her handling of dad’s personal needs. She is strong and great at handling dads maneuvering challenges. As well as being great at noticing details, like Leilani. And she is a wonderful communicator to us, while at the same time being soft spoken and quiet in speech, which dad is seeming to need more now. The one thing that stands out about Shayla is also her ability to take the initiative, for the needs and little chores in front of her! And she has learned to cook some of the recipes just perfect! Thank you Shayla for all you do! BRENDA- What can I say about this woman that probably you all don’t already know? EXPERIENCE, EXPERIENCE, EXPERIENCE! She absolutely knows what she is doing! In so many of the areas that are highly important! And so willing to go the extra mile. She has been a comfort to us more than perhaps she knows. Even though we only have her one evening (because she is so sought after), we are grateful for all she brings to the table. Thank you, Brenda, for all you do! EVELYN- What a sweet, caring and compassionate nature this woman has! Even though when we first met her she was fairly new to Home Instead, she has been so WILLING to learn and adjust to our dad’s needs, preferences (quiet), moods, etc., all with a gracious smile! And this woman is a worker bee! She takes care of so many things and chores in a short evening shift, I’m amazed. QUWALLA- This lady is a rare, wonderful person! So gentle and kind. Always giving dad the attention. Asking him how he’s doing, etc. (my dad wonders if she is a phyciatrist- which is a HUGE compliment from his standpoint). Very professional! Noticing details. Helps him maneuver around great with patience and soft spoken direction. Quick thinking. Jumping right in there when needs present themselves. (Even when I was in a little shock myself over a TERRIBLE plumbing disaster, this angel stepped up, literally, figured out a plan to get the needed bathroom supplies out without having to step deep into “the messy water”, and executed it!) Bless you Quwalla, and thank you for all you do! MARY ELLEN: Another gentle soul! Even though new to our family, she talked to dad the first day, with attention and such normalcy to his sensibilities, he thanked her for talking to him! Also, we are grateful for her willingness to pitch in with everything we’ve ever asked. Thank you Mary Ellen, for all you do! And a shout out to TAMARA, who recently filled in for us, when a need arose. She was so capable, and willing to assimilate a lot of info quickly, and take care of all the needs that were important that night with skill and kindness! All that on TOP OF having to drive a great distance when she had put on many miles already that day. Driving home, my guess is, probably close to two hours! Thank you Tamara for all you did for us!
