  The two Optometrists we saw today were both friendly and professional. However, the other employees were not friendly nor did communicate well at all. The same with the employees at LensCrafters, they were not very friendly nor did they communicate well either. If it was not for the Optometrists, we would have walked out. This was our first time going there and it was not a very good experience. I expected better. We will not be going back except to pick up the glasses we purchased.

  I try to find good service whenever I have to spend time and money anywhere. This is one of the things I focus on as a grownup. The older you get, you just don't have time to be dealing with angry people who act like they hate you. I feel like the staff at Midwest Optometry Services were very friendly from the moment you walk in! No one had an attitude like, "What are YOU doing here?!" People can be very nervous when having to get themselves checked out. So a friendly disposition from those working there goes a long way! My last prescription was done at a company in Valpo and I wanted to go somewhere closer. The service at the last place was decent, but I wanted even nicer service if I could get it. Like I said, been treated like dirt enough in the past--just in search of niceness now. From all the reviews I read on Google, I saw people say that Dr. Alison Byrne was friendly. So I choose her timeslot as my doctor. She was very professional, not judgemental, didn't seem impatient. She checked all the appropriate boxes. For eye exams, you especially need someone patient because you want to take your time and get the right prescription. So that might mean asking to see something more than once, to make sure you choose the best option. I highly recommend this business and could see myself going back in the future and also recommending it to other people I know.

  The service was great. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The doctor was very helpful with the explanations and answered all the questions I had.
