That experience allowed me not only to learn about home care, but also to better understand the many services available and how to navigate the often overwhelming process of caring for aging loved ones. My father passed away in 2020, and from that point on, my mom’s care journey continued with Home Instead by our side. I am deeply grateful that we were able to honor my mom’s wish to remain at home until her passing last month, made possible by our Home Instead care team and the truly amazing, compassionate, and dedicated Care Pros who touched her life. Many of them even took the time to attend her wake services, which meant more to us than words can express. Home Instead has truly been a Godsend to my mom, to me, and to my family.
