  We used Home Instead for my parents in home care. Our story is horrific and was very traumatic to my parents. The caregiver needed to leave at 4:00. The evening shift caregiver did not show up. The day time caregiver stayed until 6:42. No one ever showed up and she actually left. She left my dad who can’t walk and on the edge of passing away in a chair by the front door!!! She left the front door open. My mother was in bed. She has dementia. We saw the caregiver leave and no one replacing her on the Ring Camera. I was in Lebanon staying at my daughter’s house and got a call from my sister to get over there that my parents have been left all alone with no caregiver. We got there about 8:00pm. My daughter and her husband headed over there because they lived closer and found them all alone my dad in his chair yelling out why did the nurse leave and we are all alone!! He was yelling for help. We are so glad my mom didn’t wake up. She could have gotten really hurt with no one there to help her. For the next days, my parents kept thinking everyone was leaving them and was scared to death. It devastated them and traumatized them and us!!!!! Outside of dying there is no reason for that caregiver to have left my mom and dad. She had my number and talked with me through text all the time and never once reached out to me that she had to leave!!! This was unexceptable for a company that we had trusted with the care of our parents!!! Shameful just shameful!!

  I was with a friend visiting his mother at Glasswater Creek in Whitestown. And saw a lady talking to all of the residents a very lovely lady. So I asked the desk about her and learned that she didn’t even work there. She works for an outside company called Home Instead and her name is Lori. And I just want to say what an amazing job she was doing having conversation with all these seniors. She’s quite a blessing, and I could tell all the residents were very engaged in their conversations.

  I had a stroke 2 years ago and my experience with Home Instead has been wonderful. I really have had a amazing experience witg Cayley Fairfield As a caretaker and Amber Brown as a caretaker.they go over and Beyond I highly recommend them

  I am not a customer at this time but I met Lori Beltran and she is an excellent ambassador for your company. I have an apartment in Glasswater Creek of Whitestown and after speaking with other residents it's very obvious that she is a very popular caregiver here. I am in the independent living section of our facility but Lori is the one everyone prefers! When I am ready for help I know I will be calling and asking for her!

  We’ve been using Home Instead for about 7 months now and been extremely happy with them. Penny has been our primary caregiver and become a part of our family. My mother has Alzheimer’s but still loves to interact & be active and Penny is a great companion & assistant for her. She knows how to strike just the right balance btwn “always being there” yet not feeling overbearing. My mother has rejected any help or assistance in the home for years but took to Penny right away. Penny has experience with people with dementia and that experience shows. Beyond her talent & knowledge as a caregiver & home assistant/manager, she’s been extremely reliable & responsive to our needs. She’s on time, every time. We sometimes change start & end times based on things we have going on and she’s always able to accommodate. She doesn’t do weekends or evenings but on the few occasions we’ve needed such scheduling Home Instead has sent alternative caregivers & they too have been outstanding. Shout out to Lori & Kyla for stepping in when needed and helping keep this whole thing held together which is not always easy. Behind it all is Jackie who’s been our mgmt point of contact since the beginning and has always been accessible, willing & responsive to ensure our needs continue to be met even when things come up that require last minute adjustments & accomodations. Home Instead has really lived up to its name in our situation. It’s allowed mom to stay home in an environment in which she’s most comfortable a lot longer than than she otherwise would have been able to do. Their presence, reliability & top rate care has greatly bolstered the quality of life in our household & we couldn’t be more grateful.
