Good care from the nurses and the Doctor.

I had a really disappointing experience at this urgent care. I came in after a fall with significant back and hip pain and felt extremely rushed throughout the visit. The provider barely looked at my X-rays before telling me nothing was broken and that it was “probably a soft tissue or ligament issue,” with very little explanation.
I wasn’t given a clear rundown of what they saw on the imaging, what could be causing my pain, or what to watch out for. When you’re injured and scared, being brushed off like that is incredibly frustrating. I left feeling confused, anxious, and unheard, with more questions than answers.
I understand urgent cares are busy, but patients still deserve to feel listened to and have things explained to them properly. I wouldn’t recommend this location if you’re dealing with anything more than a very minor issue.

NP Root was kind, caring, attentive, compassionate, and listened carefully to my concerns.
DO NOT GO HERE! I went here because my primary Dr is in Indy and I have been having SEVERE PAIN in my upper molars as a result of my sinuses. I even went to my dentist the day prior to get xrays, making sure it wasn’t an exposed nerve.
I never have written a review before and apologize this is a bit lengthy, but in all my years of visiting any doctor, I had never had the experience that I did. My first clue that I should’ve left was that it took approx. 35 minutes before I was “checked in.” There were only 4 people ahead of me. I asked the gal at the front desk how long it maybe before I get seen, and she informed me that they had “two doctors today, and there wouldn’t be a wait.” That was the first lie.
The doctor spent a total of five minutes with me. I’m 43 years old and was in tears. Come to realize the paper they gave me as I’m heading out the door with my visits info showed the nurse typed in several of my prescriptions completely wrong, including one that red flagged the doctor. I’m on a medicine called (Low Dose Naltrexone) that has to be compounded. I take a total of 6 mg (for inflammation/thyroid) and I told the nurse that, but she entered it as regular Naltrexone at 50 mg, which is the starting dose they put people on that are coming off drug addictions! So I called my primary in Indy and they said it was ridiculous they didn’t give me anything and they even called this joke of a place to talk to them and explain my my meds and that didn’t even change their minds!
I called and spoke with a patient advocacy nurse and she was the only person who had any decency. I called back and talked to the nurse who saw me last and she was extremely rude.
I wasted $50 and am awake trying to deal with my ongoing pain until I see my ENT Dr. tomorrow! The doctor wouldn’t even prescribe me 1 pain pill to get me through the night so I could sleep. My blood pressure is normally a bit elevated, around 125, for the top number, when I was about to leave I asked the lovely nurse to check it and it was over 160!
So long story short, the elderly male doctor did not even listen to me when I told him I’m on LDN because he said I would get extremely sick if I took that and a pain killer together. WRONG! Only if it was the dose he thought I was on. I’m less upset about the $50 being wasted and more upset about the level of competency and injustice that took place. And for them to not even say anything close to an “I’m sorry,” tells me all I need to know. If anyone read all the way to the end of my review rant, thank you.
