Gross lack of customer service or customer interest. Never coming back here. Overbooked OR lacking sufficient optometrist staffing at this location. Was hard to get a simple same-week eye exam appointment here, which is totally misaligned with LensCrafters speedy service commitments. They are located inside the reputable LensCrafters store but the two companies are not related.
When we showed up for our appointment - we were told we came on the wrong date! The store mgr insinuated the mistake was ours, not their scheduling system failure, and offered to sit around the rest of the day waiting for an indefinite no-guarantee walk-in. My son missed an intensive class to make it to this fantom appointment, and lost the ability to order new prescription glasses in time for upcoming international trip.
The fact that they are inside LensCrafters causes confusion. Had I know this, I would have called around to find more competent local eye clinic, with more available optometrists to meet our urgent need for an updated prescription. Also, the LensCrafters staff also confirmed this Indiana EyeDoctors staff is less than impressive and is difficult to work with.
The store manager here - a Kerriann Y - treated us with beyond despicable customer service. She was a complete Karen. Was totally arrogant and dismissive, she refused to acknowledge their scheduling error, and to offer a respectful solution. Her behavior was completely absent of customer-centricity, she showed zero regard and respect for new customer and our urgency for an updated prescription. I have never been so power-tripped at an eye doctor’s office in my entire life of wearing glasses. She single-handily ruined The EyeDoctors brand for us before we even got to see a doctor here. I will not be returning. I will also raise a complaint with Lens Crafters Company.
She should not be allowed a customer facing role to power-trip on customers. She grossly lacks any and all customer service skills. She also lacks interest in driving brand loyalty and revenues.

Best eye doctor I've been to in my entire life, except maybe when I was younger -a couple doctors at Sears optical in Marion were pretty great, but since then I've not been able to find a place I like. Now, LensCrafters and Dr Finney are going to be my go-to people for all my eye needs!
