- DSDianna SwensonOct 4, 20225.0My mother is 89 years old and has balance, heart, breathing, and allergy problems. She has lost 30 pounds and has been very disoriented for the past 6 months. We were very concerned why she was having so many problems. The first thing we did was cut out any homemade snacks and have Home Instead monitor: her eating, weight, sleeping, physical activity, and personnel hygiene. Thanks to Home Instead; they have probably saved my mothers life 2 times. The first was a severe nose bleed, the second time they called and said she should go to the hospital because she had been sick during the night. If Home Instead had not been with her, she would not have received prompt hospital care. At the hospital she tested positive for COVID. The hospital sent her home but Home Instead stayed with her 24 hours a day at the hospital and at her apartment to make sure she was okay. Home Instead has been great! They fulfilled all of my request for my mom and logged everything that happened while they were with her. The owners are attentive and friendly. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Home Instead for your excellent care of my mom.
