At this Kroger, I’ve always been treated with respect. When I receive text messages that my medications are filled, they’re ready when I show up. As long as I pay attention to my refills and communicate when a prescription is urgent, I never go without my medication. Overall, in my experience, Kroger is one of the better pharmacies in town. As a former tech, I know that literally all pharmacies have long wait times, weird hours, and issues with prescriptions not being ready. They’re all understaffed, underpaid, and have limited resources. It’s an industry issue, not a company issue. Also, every single person thinks their medication is the most important; how can everyone be top priority with hundreds of prescriptions? It’s just entitled to show up as any business is closing and expect them to stay open just for you, especially one that is at high risk of robbery (like multiple pharmacies in Kokomo). These are people, not machines. Realistic expectations and personal responsibility can go a long way.

They are awfully snobby for how s*i*ty of a job they do… and they seem to think they have more reach and authority than they are entitled to. My medication was withheld from me until I supplied a reason for why I was prescribed my medication. (i’m not gonna explain it but that’s not how that works) Medication is never ready on time. I’ve sat on hold for over three hours (not the first time, and not an exaggeration ) with them before they answered and put me on hold. Because what’s the alternative? I drive a half hour to town for them to tell me my medication won’t be ready until tomorrow? And then it’s still not ready. I don’t know what this places deal is, but they need some oversight…. If anywhere else in town took my insurance I’d be gone! If I could give you zero stars I would.

For years this has been the most judgemental place to get prescriptions. They always give me an attitude, like they don't like servicing black people. I'm speaking for many people, who has experience this feeling with this pharmacy.
