Everyone was very kind, very welcoming and extremely helpful. Our wait was brief and there was plenty of space for kids to wander or play. Each Dr, technician or nurse fully explained everything in a fashion that put my grandson at ease. He is not one to talk openly but I was pleasantly surprised at all his input.

We have taken our daughter to Dr. Mark Hoyer at Riley since she was 9 days old, shes now 21. Dr. Hoyer is the best and Riley Hospital gives top notch care to their kids.

My newborn has a heart defect and we were told she needed a referral to a pediatric cardiologist. Our pediatrician sent over a referral over a week ago. We got a call a week later from our pediatricians referral office asking if we heard from Riley. We said no. She has been calling them and working on getting our referral sent over but the cardiology office keeps saying they don’t have the referral and we can’t schedule an appointment for our baby because of them. We have been making phone calls and leaving messages for 2 days and still don’t have an appointment. It shouldn’t be this difficult to schedule an appointment for care for my infant. This is ridiculous.

We were very impressed with the performance of the teams that were in on the procedure that my son had. They performed very professionally they came in ahead of time and talked with us about the procedure they expectations and what all would be done and how would they would do it. We were very pleased with the team and the outcome that we received. My son was in good hams and was well taken care of. We are so appreciative of the IU cardiology department and Riley can't say enough.
I've been waiting for weeks on just a call back to schedule an appointment. They claim they'll call back within 5 days, but it's taken them weeks to call me back today for her to tell me that someone else is supposed to call me back. If it takes this long just to schedule, I hate to see what else the office is like. I'll be going somewhere else because at this point, I'm convinced they must be hiring and they don't have a scheduling person working there.
