  If I could put a 0 I would, this IU transplant team is the rudest and unprofessional. They don’t keep you updated about the next steps. My mom got tested to donate a kidney to me, she passed all her test. 6-7 months of testing for them to come back and say she can’t donate because “her kidneys are too small” she’s a perfectly healthy person, her kidneys aren’t much smaller than mine, mine are enlarged and hers is 2cm difference than mine. Like what do they want people to have a huge kidney.? It makes no sense, so now I have to be put on dialysis because they wasted too much time. 0/10 do not recommend this transplant center to anyone unless you want to waste time, you have to do their jobs for them. We had to keep calling to get an update and most of the time they would get an attitude. Not a way to treat patients.

  I got a liver to at IU in September 2005 and it is still going strong! I’ve had many other medical problems but never with my liver. I am extremely grateful to IU As I traveled from NY to get it! Awesome place.

  I feel they are a waste of time. Run you around and expect you to do their jobs and on top of it get lied to. The medical field is worthless anymore. They make the money off of a person until they can't any further then its off to the next. Money is the deciding factor not the person in need.
