Scheduled an appt to start blood pressure treatment. My BP runs high and I have an anxiety disorder so in the clinic my BP shot up just from being there and around an obviously nervous staff. I was having no symptoms, no headache, no dizziness, chest pains, shortness of breath, nothing. Nurse practitioner flipped out and said I needed to go to the ER and that she should call an ambulance. I asked if she was serious and that I was just hoping to get a script for lisonopril or something... She said, no that she couldn't treat me now and was much more upset than I was. I "refused treatment" so she ran and got paperwork for me to sign saying I was refusing to go to the ER. My BP never even hit the hypertension crisis numbers. I walked out and my BP pressure dropped down to it's usual levels later at home and they got to keep my $99 too. She panicked and wanted me out the door and to sign paperwork to save her job and avoid a lawsuit apparently.

I went to the little clinic on Sunday at 3 o’clock. My prescription is still not called in. It is Monday at 11 o’clock. It was so important that I make sure I get this medicine because I have influenza a, and I still have no prescription from the clinic that I thought I could trust.

Don't expect to be seen immediately, even with an appointment.

I’ve been sitting here for over 2 hours. There are other sick kids In here. This is ridiculous. One woman working and she moves at the speed of a sloth.

Five year old seen after several days home with recurring fever, sore throat, became a concern about possible strep throat when lassitude began. NP asked why he wasn’t brought in earlier - five year olds in kindergarten constantly bring home small things, it wasn’t thought to be anything serious until it progressed. Told it was “something viral” and sent home after a near argument about being able to get a doctor note for school. A day later child was in Riley Hospital for possible tonsil abscess. Don’t trust these people. It’s not worth your frustration or your child’s health safety just to try to get in earlier than with your pediatrician.
