  Amazing optometrist, but overpriced glasses and deceptive sales tactics. Jeff Wade is truly exceptional—personable, attentive, professional, and he actually listens to your concerns. Unfortunately, the sales experience doesn’t match his standard. The staff consistently tries to upsell, and they get visibly annoyed when you decline to buy glasses in-store. On my last visit, I explained that I don’t purchase glasses there because the exact same frames, lenses, and options cost hundreds less on the Target Optical website. The in‑store team marks them up significantly, and the pressure to buy feels unnecessary given the price difference.

  The Target Optical staff were extremely helpful and Laura was very friendly with us. She helped me pick out my glasses and was very patient. 10/10 experience.

  Whoever picks up the phone here needs to learn how to speak with manners, literally hung up on them. That's all it took to realize I won't go there... Hopefully they record their phone calls to see how people are spoken too... my money is green plenty of other eyewear places in town.

  Came in Saturday morning, only one person working and five customers. Ashley was excellent at multitasking as efficiently as possible. As each new customer entered, she pleasantly greeted them and asked for their patience. And she answered three phone calls, took a message and assured the callers she would get back to them, all with a pleasant and friendly demeanor. She was very patient and thorough as I was ordering a few new pairs of glasses. Ashley understands customer service which seems to be a rarity in healthcare today. Thanks!

  This was the first time I used Target Optical in Mishawaka IN, and I have been wearing glasses and contacts for many many years. The Optometrist at Target did an awesome job. She listened and addressed all my concerns. The staff was very helpful when picking out my glasses. She even went in the back room and pulled more frames for me. She didn't want me leave until I was satisfied. If you have any reservations about going to Target Optical, don't. They are awesome. They are my new go to place for exams and eyewear.
