Evansville State Hospital is an Indiana State Psychiatric Hospital committed to the mission of Hope & Recovery. Our facility provides medical treatment for chronic mental illness and substance abuse disorders from our dedicated team of professionals. Active Treatment helps our patients achieve their goals directed towards living in the most non-restrictive environment possible. Our team assists our patients throughout the treatment process involving medical, nursing, psychology, social work, rehabilitation therapy, and community integration programs. Evansville State Hospital continues to maintain accreditation though The Joint Commission as an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital as well as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services certification.
