I was a patient seeing Shawna Grant for therapy. I missed one appointment due to an emergency, and when I called to reschedule, I was told she has a very strict no-show policy: if I didn’t show up again, she would remove me from her list of patients. I recently had to cancel my appointment because I was removed from my living situation, but I canceled several days before the appointment. I couldn’t see her for about two weeks while I found a living situation because I had to go to Michigan to live with my mother temporarily. When I finally found my living place (6/19/2023), I tried to reschedule an appointment with Shawna, and she had removed me off her list of patients. I think that is truly disrespectful and unprofessional considering that I did leave a reason on my cancellation — removed from living situation, will reschedule.
Shawna also was always going over time with her other patients. Her therapy sessions with other patients bled into my appointments with her. Very unprofessional with time, yet if I had an emergency or cancelled and couldn’t reschedule for two weeks, she’d removed me from her list of patients.
Shawna spent most of the time talking herself. I was never comfortable with talking about other things in my life because she was focused on my anxiety. I have more issues than just anxiety, and it’s on my chart that I have other mental illnesses. They would even send me a depression screening before appointments.
So all in all, Shawna is extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and doesn’t actually listen nor make you feel comfortable.

Doctor Mario Robbins is one of the best psychiatrist in the NWI region. I have been a patient for 7yrs now. His staff is for the most part a great staff. We are all human beings dealing with mental health challenges daily. Doctor and his staff are also human beings that have a call in life to render services to Us with the mental health challenges. Yes we may have to wait longer periods sometimes but it is NOT every single appt. Trust me out of 30yrs of my diagnosis I have seen my fair share of psychiatrist and he is by far one of the best I have had. He does not throw nor shove ANY & all kind of mediation if not needed. We have to advocate & do our research as well. Thank you Dr. Robbins & staff for going the extra mile for Us!

I saw NP Saundra Clarke. Wasn't told of a fee to fill out fmla paperwork. She lied , saying she informed me. She didn't. She only gave me instructions on how to drop off paperwork. Staff treated me as I were a thief. Trying to get something for nothing . Total disregard of my plight. Very unprofessional..
Its really sad to need a physician and be hit with non communication, poor social skills and poor ethics. I would NEVER revommend.
