  Staff were great to my 9 year old. Overall they were really informative, answered all my questions and had a decent experience. I’m giving 3 stars bc I had to call to get a school note for my son (my bad for not getting it before we left). I called 10 mins after we left (roughly 11:30am) they said they would email me one before the office closed. 7:30pm rolled around with no email so I called and left a message again reminding them I needed a school note. No response, no email, nothing. Called the next morning (8:30am) still no answer. I used someone else’s phone 3 mins after using my own phone to call, someone immediately picked up and sent the email within 2 mins of getting off the phone. Ok cool I got the note but why did it take 3 phone calls from my phone with no answer but an immediate response when I use someone else’s number to call….. annoyed is an understatement. Seems they flag the numbers they don’t want to deal with and just blatantly don’t answer unless using a different number….

  I had scheduled an appointment for dental fillings on September 12, 2025, but I canceled it about a month in advance due to travel plans. Despite canceling well ahead of time, White River still billed my insurance approximately $345 for fillings that were never performed. My insurance paid $277, and the remaining balance is now being shown as due from me. I have never received any fillings at this office, yet they submitted a claim as if the procedure was completed. I have called White River several times to point out this error, but the issue still has not been resolved. This is absolutely unacceptable. It is very concerning that a dental office would bill for a procedure that was never performed, and it has been very frustrating trying to get this corrected.

  This was my first time being seen. I was told that I would need a lot of teeth removed. Dr. Strickland really pushed me to get implants. He told me if I did not it would shave up to 15 years off my life. He went on and on pushing implants. I told him I just couldn’t afford them. He went on to say “oh it’s just 30,000 to 50,000 dollars, and that I could get a loan, and that It is no different than a car payment, and it could be pushed out over 10 to 12 years”. It may not be much to him but it is to most other people. After I told him that this is not the option I want, he never said another word to me. He said a few things to his assistant, and walked out. No thank you, I will see you soon, anything. I was no longer a priority when he found out I would not be choosing the expensive option. I have never been made to feel the way he made me feel. Absolutely insignificant. I have a lot of work coming up in the next couple of weeks, and I am not so sure I want to continue with his office. I will say that EVERYONE ELSE was so nice and wonderful. It’s a shame.
