I honestly give this place a 3 star. I had a good time here and it definitely works.. but I had an emergency surgery this month, and once I had it, I told them to cancel my plan, because I literally cant get out of bed for a month or two, or probably longer. Since I wasnt able to be here mentally for a lot of things, once I was able too I saw my phone and they called me about 30 times for a payment when I told them to cancel it. I honestly didnt like that, and couldnt rest because they were calling me more than my family. It just seemed a bit money hungry, and I dont like that. Now I have an outstanding balance of close to 400 because I told them to cancel because I couldnt move and they said okay and apparently never did. I really wish that didnt happen.
Knowledgeable and helpful instructors, effective classes and prompt, friendly front-desk assistance are the reasons I find Pure Barre to be a great value and feel confident when recommending Pure Barre to my friends.
I started coming to Pure Barre Bloomington in March. From the very beginning, the instructors and members always make me feel welcome. Oh and the exercise...love it! Having never done a group exercise before, I was pretty nervous. It is always so much fun!
Great studio. Friendly and helpful instructors. Cute decor, but would prefer newer or non-rusty lockers. Love the music and the burn or shake. Some movements are confusing but I'm just starting out at this format and it's gotten so much better than my first class. Love that the instructor corrects my form and challenges me to go lower. After today, I definitely want to continue, however I struggle with a good time that fits my schedule. 6:30am is a tad too late. I recommend definitely giving Pure Barre a try.
Review update: So I'm loving the classes and I've made the 6:30am one work for my schedule. I've tried all three different formats and empower and classic are my favs (depending on the day). Only complaint is the rust in the lockers which if you put your shoes down first then your bag doesn't have to touch. Small issue but otherwise nothing other than praise.

I started taking classes at Pure Barre 1 week ago and in 7 days I took 5 classes. During the first class I felt horribly out of shape and weak and the pain my my left shoulder prevented me from doing a lot of the exercises. Prior to starting with Pure Barre it was really hard for me to get back into exercising because of the pain, I didn't feel motivated at all. During the second class I already felt a lot stronger and my body was more in control of the movements. After 5 classes, I feel my body is starting to respond really well, I am definitely feeling a lot stronger and the pain my my shoulder is almost gone! I love being motivated and challenged and this is the best environment for my physical body to grow and for my mind to feel inspired.
