Dr. Kumar is excellent. She listens and was thorough to address my concerns.
This was my annual physical w/Dr. Balasko, and the experience from start-to-finish couldn't have gone better! From the real-time initial check-in process ... to the mere minutes I had to wait before being called back to the exam room ... to the really fast interview and vitals collection with the nurse ... followed by only a minute or two before Dr. Balasko walked in for my appointment! I only wish everything in my life ran as smoothly and successfully as this appointment did. Well done!

IU HEALTH seems to be cramming more and more patients into Dr schedules. It’s getting harder to see you own Dr in a timely manner. My annual check in for disease management, prescriptions labs discussions were scheduled then had to be cancelled through no fault of Dr but then she couldn't see me again till many months later?! I did see a weeks later a stand in Dr who was very good but will she be my Dr for now on - but she’s Part time. I’d make her my primary if I could.
When I go to make my next annual appt my regular Dr. can’t see me till way after 1 year as she’s already booked up! Who has a Dr they can count on for the long term anymore? Some new one comes in quickly reads your chart? Very disappointed. But I think it’s all on IU HEALTH and the way they run their hospital. Sad there’s no competition here.

This was the most unprofessional, condescending health care I have ever received and not one for building confidence in IU Health.
I walked into IU Health Primary Care located at 550 S Landmark Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403. This facility at around 10:00 AM today 2/25/26 and like many times in the past, I was today mentally abused for my disability and medical conditions by two ladies in Endocrinology, a lady in Nephrology getting a patient to mentally abused me for my medical conditions, a woman in patient check-in on the 2nd floor in a back-room; that included threats when I spoke-up --that I "would get it" so as to keep me from speaking up. I find this in conflict with state and Federal laws that pertain to disabled people like me. I have complained to the manager there and yet this still persists as abuse towards me as a disabled elderly man with medical conditions.
