  Trying to transferred an already existing children’s patient to this location. Ended up not doing so due to an extremely rude receptionist.

  Batesville children’s used to be amazing. We have been going there for 11 years. They had a sick call option which really helped us with getting in and out when you can never get an appointment the same day when a kid is sick. Now that sick call isn’t offered anymore the place is really awful about getting an appointment. It opens at 8am and by 8:01 the sick call block is already full and when you have no choice but to make a late appointment only to call back and they actually never made the appointment. It’s sad to have to move on from good drs but their new system is crap.

  We have been patients at the Batesville location since 2013. We moved to Indianapolis and had not set up care with another doctor yet, and my youngest child came down with an ear infection. Normally I would just let an ear infection run it’s course, but this particular day it was accompanied by fever. School was closed because of extreme cold temperatures, and I called to see if the doctor would call in a mild antibiotic for my child. They would not help me, and insisted I bring my child out in below zero temps. I am not a doctor, but as a mother of three, ear pain and fever are not life threatening conditions, but the pain and infection are quickly treated with a simple prescription. This isn’t the quality of care I would expect from this clinic, and I will not be returning. Common sense and compassion would go a long way.
