  I went into the ER with terrible stomach pain . I was put into a room given an IV and morphine even though I told them I didn’t react well to morphine but was. Was never seen by a nurse I was told he was much too busy. After 3 hours of being on an IV we discovered it was not open or going in my vein. I asked for a drink and crackers after we figured out I didn’t need surgery and was told I could get that at home. My call light didn’t work. I was basically ignored for 3 hours and then kicked out even though not all my concerns were addressed.

  I love IU West I feel safe there. I’ve had some bad doctors at Methodist and workers that didn’t listen to me or screamed to holler at me.

  Very good treatment, I'd like to take the opportunity to say, thank you so much. Very nice registration, very polite and professional, the nurse who took my pressure test, she noticed I had high pressure of pain because of the kidney stone in my right kidney. They took me instantly, and thankfully. Mrs. Stephanie was my nurse, she was amazing, thank you so much for her good work, she was kind and very professional with taking samples of my blood as part of the check up, very grateful. Nurse James and then later Mrs. Molly, and respectfully, they were very friendly, and professional. and pretty straight forward with the news about my right kidney stone, apparently it's 7 mm, respectfully, and mind you, two weeks ago, I got done having two kidney stones in my right kidney, for 8 days, of non stop agony, thankfully, IU West Hospital gave me medication to get me through that miserable and painful journey, so, Thank You so much for what you did, I am so grateful, respectfully, thankfully, right now, so far so good, I'm so grateful 🤲 and I do want to point out the good nurses and hospital staff members for doing such an amazing job, Thank You so much for all your hard work, you guys are life savers and very inspiring with every visit, I've had more good visits at IU West Hospital than bad one, I've had 7 kidney stones so far, in different times, very painful and wouldn't wish it on anyone, it's that painful, respectfully, and thank you so much to the owner of IU West Hospital, Thank You so much for your hard work, IU West Hospital is a wonderful place and deserves tons of respect, respectfully.

  The NP, Stacey, did not actually listen to my concerns and came in with a pre-conceived notion of what was wrong. I presented for a unique situation that she likely had never seen and most likely will never see again. It involved aerosolized oil and other toxins being introduced into breathing air. She kept saying that the poison control center said there was nothing to worry about even when I was providing documentation of the real risks of the situation. I am now suffering through a chemical concussion because of her inaction and unwillingness to listen to the patient who happened to know more about this type of incident than she did.
