- RJRIFFAT JAFFREYSep 24, 20251.0I had my Dexa, bone density test done, my doctor Thelma Merin at this Woodridge Clinic wrote the referral which should have been Routine preventative screening, however she wrote referrals with wrong code which was not routine preventative, which obviously, I did not know and went to Good Sam, Downers Grove location to get it done. They did the test according to what was on referral and performed not preventive test. My insurance BCBS MI 100% cover routine, but because of stupid doctor Thelma Merin, i was billed $356.00 which is deducted for non preventative test. The test was done on 06/16/2025 and since then I am calling my stupid doctor billing department and Good Sam and my insurance. Though my doctor office tried to correct the code but Good Sam is saying they cannot change to preventative code and that is illegal because the test they performed was not preventative. Now I will have to pay this because of stupid doctor Thelma Merin's fault. This clinic sucks.
