  Dr. Merchant was great and took the time to explain everything without rushing. Laura, the optician, was super helpful and made picking out glasses easy and comfortable. Overall, a really good experience and I’d definitely recommend them.

  They broke my $600 glasses while adjusting them and then threatened me to leave a store else they will call cops on me. Person in store who broke glasses first told me they will replace glasses. Then Store manager on call denied and told me to wait till 5:00 for a call on “if” they can give me 10-20% off on a new glass, which any store anyways give. I was disheartened and sitting in a corner to get my head clear before I could drive. I was never told to leave store or that I could not sit till that time. When I was getting in a frame of mind to get up and drive again, doctor at the store suddenly started accusing me of being rude when I wasn’t even talking, just sitting gathering myself. I did not even know her, she wasn’t there when my glasses broke, I was just sitting in a corner she appeared from inside and started accusing me. Never ever go to them. They can threaten and intimidate you if anything went wrong in their end. It was a scary experience given I was only customer at store. They could have done anything to me. I went to Pearle vision in Arlington heights, where I was told the glasses broke as the person did not heat it enough before bending , so it snapped.They offered me in no time 20% off on new glasses and expressed that they felt sorry for experience I had at Wheeling. There are good people and good branches of Pearle Vision. Never go to Wheeling branch . They will reply to this thread with false comments I know. But this is end of it from my side. May everyone pay for their karma.

  I’ve been coming to this location for years and always love the service provided. The staff is nice and helpful. They inform you what your insurance covers when it comes to glasses and don’t attempt to upsell which is always a nice feeling. I’d recommend everyone get their eyes checked here.

  Dr. Saha gave me a very thorough eye exam. I am happy with the results, which included a new Rx for my lenses.

  I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for an eye exam. The day of the appointment I showed up at 9:30 am appointment and the doors were locked and place was dark. Supposedly, My home phone number was called 12 minutes before with cancellation. When I called - Their excuse is that they were stuck in traffic and I could have an appointment at 12:30. Boy, must have been some traffic. They lied to me and I will never go to that place again. Do they think I am so stupid????
