  Came in mid January for eye exam and glasses. I have Eye Med insurence through Cigna. Keep in mind, I had bought glasses from them twice prior. They ran my insurence and told me a name I never heard of, not eye med. Said my eye exam with insurence will be $50. I asked to double check my insurence because it’s covered bi-annually. They said they did and that’s what it showed. I agreed. I did my exam after which I was directed to sit down and choose the type of lenses and frames I wanted. At that time, I was informed that I had to buy lenses and frames NOW or I would be charged $128. I then asked, what is full cash price without insurance, they said $128. I began to look up my insurance to show them that eye exams are fully covered. They told me that’s not what it says in their system. I informed them that I needed time to find the correct frames and also get some input. They insisted I had to buy now or pay full price. I said no thank you and left without ever receiving my prescription details or any paperwork. Their response was, “Ok, no problem”. I walked over to a local well known competitor, got another eye exam which was covered under my Eye Med insurence at $0. Received all my paperwork, and not required to buy lenses and frames during the visit. Today 2/4/25, I received a bill from Pearl Vision for $184. It sounds like their system is off or they’re running some boiler room scam. Never will I return to that location except to dispute the charges. The lady who checked me in was rude and annoyed, and the guy who checked me out was just very rude, wanted for me to choose fast and get out and refused to tell me my prescription until I pay. By the way, this is my 1st google review as I’m amazed by the lack of care or customer service as experienced at this place.
