I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at For Eyes Optical in Tinley Park. My journey started on December 23, 2025, when I ordered glasses with the help of the individual who identified herself as the manager. I was told my glasses would be ready in two weeks. However, it is now April 3, 2026, and the issue is still unresolved. From mid-January 2026 through February 15, 2026, I repeatedly called the store to check on the readiness of my glasses. Every time I called, my calls went to voicemail, and despite leaving several messages with my phone number, I never received a callback. Frustrated, I decided to visit the store on February 20, 2026. When I went in person, I discovered that my glasses were ready—but they had the wrong prescription. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the manager had entered the incorrect prescription into the system and had also recorded my phone number incorrectly. This meant that any calls they had attempted to make to inform me the glasses were ready went to the wrong number. What shocked me the most was the complete lack of follow-up. After the prescription error was fixed, no one from the store communicated with me about whether my glasses were ready. On March 28, I visited the store again, only to find out that they could not locate my glasses. I was asked to recount the entire story, after which I was told that only the manager could assist me and that the manager would be calling me soon. It is now April 3, 2026, and I have yet to hear from anyone at For Eyes Optical. This experience has been beyond unacceptable. The complete lack of professionalism, organization, and communication from this location is appalling. I am left with no choice but to write this public review, as well as file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau for both the Tinley Park location and For Eyes' corporate headquarters in Miramar, FL. I encourage the company to address these issues immediately, as this level of service—and disregard for customers—is unacceptable. FINAL NOTE: I took time and money to entrust my vision to you, and so far, you have failed as a business to meet even the most basic standards of customer service. I hope corporate leadership takes this seriously and resolves this matter soon, not only for me but to prevent this poor experience from affecting other customers. For anyone considering this location, please think carefully before doing business here.

Just awful. I walked into this place today with my grandson who had recently had an eye exam there. We came to get glasses. Please keep in mind that the store was empty not a soul in there but somehow these white women found it in their best interest to ignore this Black family. They not only ignored us but made us feel like an inconvenience. We got the prescription printed left and will go somewhere else to get glasses. I don't know if this was a race issue, but it is very easy to assume considering there was no one else to serve and they simply ignored us. Even when I asked if someone would help us they the woman was combative and bothered. Never ever again. I tried to post without any stars but that is not an option.

I’ve been coming to this store for a while now and have always had such a great experience with the clinical side of things. Dr.Welsh is incredibly thorough and the sales team is always patient and helpful while I'm picking out frames. They are the only reason I kept coming back and they’re clearly the ones doing all the heavy lifting to keep the place running. However, the current management is a total dealbreaker. The manager is completely unprofessional and just flat-out dismissive. The second they got involved, the whole vibe shifted and I felt like my time and my history as a customer didn't matter at all. It is so frustrating to see such a hardworking crew held back by such poor leadership. I won’t be back as long as that person is in charge.

I’ve been a customer for a few years and always have a great experience! Dr Christina takes the time to help me find the best prescription for my glasses and Deborah is fantastic at helping you find the perfect glasses for your face shape!

My experience was awful. No one ever returns phone calls! They also never called to let me know my son's glasses were in until I called and found out they were received over the weekend. I called several times (left messages) on different matter, and they didn't return my call until I had to contact Corp office. I had to get the corp office involved just to get a return call and correct RX. Very unprofessional!
