  Annalisa is rude, unhelpful, and petty. no customer service skills + talks so soft you can’t even hear her. she is the reason i canceled my membership

  This place is a joke!!! Limited area to workout. Limited amount of weights. Cold water. Broken sink faucets. Dirty floors. And now that I did a survey that came to my email, they will not stop bothering me asking me to change the review and give them a higher score. I've asked repeatedly for them to stop calling and emailing and they won't!! I even threatened to file a harassment charge against them if they didn't stop. Well, they stopped for about two months and they are back at it. They need to leave me alone. I won't change my review and I will never set foot back inside that location of Planet Fitness. Much better ones around with bigger facility, more equipment, cleaner and friendlier staff. If I could give this location zero stars, I would.

  Positive community, clean/spacious facility and great range of equipment for beginner, intermediate & advanced strength/conditioning. The best staff, with special shout-out to Elton!

  I’m writing to express my discomfort with repeated interactions I’ve had with a specific staff member at the front desk during night hours. I typically don’t write reviews unless absolutely necessary, but I feel harassed and singled out at this point. Despite following gym rules, I’ve noticed I’m consistently the only person being told to remove my bag from the floor — while male members with bags in the same position are never approached. This has happened multiple times, and it feels discriminatory. I’ve visited other Planet Fitness locations (Dundee, Elgin, DeKalb) and have never been treated this way. When I pointed out to the staff member that other people also had bags on the floor, her response was, “I bet there is.” What kind of response is that? It felt sarcastic, dismissive, and completely unprofessional — especially considering I was trying to raise a valid concern. Previously, I submitted a review about this issue and was contacted to change it. That review was later deleted, which felt dismissive. Since then, a “no bags on the floor” sign has appeared — but only after my complaint. If this is a rule, it should be enforced consistently and respectfully across all members, not selectively. I didn’t catch the staff member’s name, but I’ve been actively avoiding her because of how uncomfortable she makes me feel. Her tone and approach toward me are noticeably different than how she interacts with male members, which feels sexist and unfair. I love this location and want to continue working out here, but I ask that management address this issue with the team. Everyone deserves equal treatment, and I hope this feedback leads to a more respectful and inclusive environment.
