  My hearing specialist is Dr. John Lawless, whose office is located in Springfield, Illinois. Before seeing Dr. Lawless, I was becoming an introvert. I avoided groups and family gatherings as I couldn't hear. Dr. Lawless helped me get fitted with hearing aids and has given me back hearing. It's wonderful to talk on the phone and hear what people are saying, to visit family and not have to keep saying, "Huh?" During our visits, he cleans my hearing aids and makes sure they will continue to allow me to hear the world around me. His receptionist, Dana, is also very nice and helpful when making my appointments.
