For 5 nights/week ever since meeting her, Keykey, as those who know her well call her, has been helping my mom with her activities of daily living, getting her ready for bed, helping with the bathroom, getting her up and dressed in the morning, along with so many other simple but critical tasks of daily living. KeyKey allowed my mom to maintain her dignity, and along the way, they got to know one another very well. My mom trusted KeyKey. She depended on KeyKey, and KeyKey never let her down. And as time passed, I realized the friendship she’d forged with KeyKey, and I realized that she loved her. We couldn’t be more grateful for having KeyKey in my moms life.

The Veteran’s Administration approved two days a week for six hours a day. Sami made an in-home visit to assess our situation, placing Tim with my husband. It was a perfect fit! Tim is very kind and helpful. He assists with personal hygiene and caregiving. He is quite pleasant and very dependable. It is a huge relief to be able to run errands, attend doctor’s appointments, etc. and leave my husband in Tim’s care. I never have to worry. Our entire overall experience with Home Instead has been very pleasant. We have and will continue to refer our friends needing your services.

They take care of EVERYTHING -- Just make the call and they will guide you through the entire process with easy to understand descriptions and arrangements. In my case, my father fell ill rather quickly and was unable to do anything for himself that just a day earlier was very capable. They came the same day as the phone call, patiently and empathetically explained all levels of assistance they can provide and helped me make the best decisions given the needs of my dad. As issues and questions arose, the entire team at Home Instead were so kind from the individual answering phone calls, to Sammy, the patient care coordinator to PulCheri who spent the overnight hours making sure my dad was well taken care of. They are honest, upfront and definitely a group you should call without hesitation.

Within the first 90 days of employment, they also receive specialized training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. As a licensed agency with the Illinois Department of Public Health, all of our Care Professionals are bonded and insured through us.
