How do you select and train your caregivers?

All of our caregivers (we call them Care Pros) undergo background checks, skills training, and ongoing education to provide high-quality care. We hire people we would want taking care of our loved ones (or us if needed!)

Do you accept long-term care insurance/ VA benefits?

Yes, we work with most long-term care insurance providers. Call us to discuss coverage options. We are also a credentialed VA Community Care Provider for veteran in-home care.

The Home Instead caregivers have been a godsend for our family. My recently widowed father very much wants to live independently but mobility issues make that challenging. His caregivers help him with day-to-day home and personal care tasks and they take him out for shopping and errands, which he loves. Everyone we’ve dealt with from Home Instead has been wonderful. They have been a huge part of making independent living work for him. 🙏

Can’t say enough for the quality of care my 96 year old Alzheimer’s MIL received. Supervisor Gina was always professional and supported her caregivers in working with my MIL during difficult, combative moments. The caregivers worked tirelessly to meet the requests of family members overseeing her care. Great housekeepers and cooks too! Highly recommend.

Home Instead has been great for our family. Dad needs care mom can not physically do. The nursing homes are full and this lets him stay at home with one on one care. The care givers have great rapport with dad and they are professional. When things change for care for dad they accommodate. We have had their help for 10 months. I feel this is the best situation for people who want to be at home; one on one care and peaceful living. He has his house, his TV, his music, his family, his food, and his wife with him 24/7. She doesn't have to run around going back and forth to nursing homes and wondering if he's getting the care he needs.
