  I was a potential customer looking for a customized wheelchair. Both women I spoke to were snotty and condescending and acted as if I should instinctly know every single aspect of their process for purchasing a wheelchair from them thru insurance, they were exceedingly unwilling to explain their process, they didn't return either of the two calls my orthopedic surgeon's office left for them regarding the order for a wheelchair and the OTPT wheelchair evaluation that had already been done at Boone Hospital 24 hours prior which they kept insisting needed done again. They also obviously never check their fax machine. I would rather drag myself thru the mud than have anything more to do with this company let alone give them money. I want to be clear, this one star is not for the very complicated and difficult process put in place by entities other than Adaptive Mobility over which they have no control. The one star is for the conscious decisions the employees at this business makes to be as discourteous and unhelpful as possible to people struggling during a difficult time in their lives and the managers and/or owners who allow it to happen. There are very valid reasons this dumpster fire has such a poor rating. If you want to be treated like trash and experience some of the worst customer service you'll ever have to endure in your life, congratulations. You're in the right place.

  I rarely post negative reviews but I feel compelled to do so for this organization. After having my mother assessed for a power chair being told she probably would not qualify but that they would work with us to get her the proper manual chair. I took her to her doctor to get required recommendation from him. Had it sent to them. Heard nothing so followed up a couple of months later. They stated they did not have what they need from doctor but would follow up and get it. Followed up repeatedly over next the next several months and even worked to get information from doctor during another visit. They assured me that they now had a contact in the office and would work to get all the forms they needed. Here we are two months later - no chair, no communications. Very frustrated and disappointed.

  After receiving the equipment that is all ready order thou them I will not be using them again they lack communication and they do not take the patient medical need serious. You will months maybe even years for equipment.

  We had stopped in to see about part for Roho wheelchair custom cushion for oldest daughters wheelchair. The store was very nice had options and as soon as we explained what we were there for to the associate she knew exactly what we needed was very nice and more than helpful and went above and beyond to help us. On our way home and happy that we got the part we needed and found a great store that we will be sure to recommend and go back to if ever need help with wheelchair and or other mobility parts. Thank you very much 5 star for sure.
