I had the best experience today at LensCrafters on Knoxville. Walking into the entrance and was greeted with a BIG smile and a friendly welcome. Front desk ladies were friendly and smiled! Dr. Wetzeler was great! Eye exam was quick and painless! He answered all my questions that I had. My Eyecare Advisor - Vickie, she was amazing! I picked a frame that I liked and she was quick finding very similar that fit my face perfect!! She was very friendly and knowledgeable! And remembered to add my $100 coupon!! Thank LensCrafters on Knox for a great experience! 10/10 :)

No good sales anymore. Full Price for lenses & only 50% off 1 Pair of frames. LOL ! 2026 LensCrafters will be closing MORE locations bc they can't keep up w REAL Sales of their competitors, in this economy. Our family has used L.C.'s for 18 yrs. Nothing has changed. SAME HIGH Prices for the SAME glasses as their competitors.
20 customers willing to pay this , as opposed to 100 customers wondering the VALUE in LensCrafters anymore, for our Families. They don't value Loyalty & they don't Reward it either. Good riddance -

Would never go here again. My money is just as good as the others that were there. Showed up to my appointment a few mins earlier. Didn’t mind the wait, but the fact that someone comes in after I’m sitting there for 30 mins and goes directly to the back is ridiculous. Then the fact that I get a call 15 mins after I left is even more of a slap in the face. The scheduling sucks and the customer service is even worse. They are more concerned with making money instead of their customers that have appointments.

I’ve been a customer of LensCrafters for the past 20yrs, and have visited different locations within different states. From Tennessee, Up and down Northern California, and now Illinois…I’ve visited quiet a few store fronts, but the location on North Sheridan in Peoria is the first that’s ever made me WANT to leave a review. The customer service I experienced by Vickie and the Manager was amazing. I had 1,000questions, and not once was I made to feel a burden. I wish I had gotten the store managers name… both women were true professionals in their craft. Genuine customer care. I wish I had employees at my business that exuded the kind of relationship building skills I witnessed in a short time. I went in to order a single pair of glasses, and by the time I left, I was happy to have purchased 3pairs. I was empowered, not pushed to make the right choice in my purchase. Thank you ladies for taking care of my needs that day. I will tell everyone to go and see y’all!

First of all, I called and left a message to try and get an appointment AND glasses the same day.
Second, they called me back less than an hour later. Alaysia was so kind and helpful to explain the process, possibilities for my needs, and find a same day appointment for me.
Then, Ashley had to handle my return phone calls. Bless her. I had to drive in and was worried I'd miss the appointment.
Fourth, when entering the building, everyone greeted me and got me checked in. I walked around looking at frames until they called me back.
The optometrist was so kind and patient as we sorted out my new prescription.
Lastly, Michael was awesome! We had so much fun talking while trying on frames. He helped take photos and point out things that I missed that may change my mind in one direction or the other. I feel so good about my glasses and he was so helpful. I probably feel as comfortable with my choice as I do bc of his help in making sure I tried stuff and didn't just grab a pair and go. Thank you to this awesome team in Peoria. I'll be back!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
