  Our dental insurance changed and is now OON. The office staff didn’t tell us that instead waited until after the visit and asked for a payment of $165 for a routine check up like it was normal and when I asked why it’s so much she said oh your insurance isn’t in network with us. Your old coverage was in network so that’s why the payments were less. So are you paying with a card? I then found out I was lied to about the charges for the previous appointment as well. I thought I paid for x-rays because insurance didn’t cover it due my child having the done twice in less than a year but I actually paid more because we were OON then too. I don’t like being lied to about charges nor do I like being kept in the dark on things that will affect me financially. We will not be going back. I expect better from a provider that we have been seeing for 4 years.

  Love, love, love. Can't say enough good things. Very patient with all of our kids. Ages 6, 4 and almost 2. Informative without the shame.

  I just wanted say I would highly recommend Just Kidz Dentistry to any special needs family looking for a dental office able to accommodate the unique needs of their child. The staff is exceptional and the hygienists are patient, understanding and compassionate. My daughter has been a client of a Just Kidz Dentistry for over a decade and recently had to have two fillings. She was able to get through the procedure thanks to the hard work of Dr. Jack, 3 dental hygienists and a sweet receptionist who never fails to help us out to the van afterwards. They all made a challenging experience better than I could have hoped.

  I’m leaving this review to warn other parents to get a second opinion before agreeing to treatment here — especially for babies. I took my 12-month-old for her first dental visit and was told she had “demineralization/cavities” on her top front teeth, allegedly from breastfeeding. No X-rays were taken, yet SDF was applied, permanently turning her front teeth black. At a follow-up appointment, when my child understandably would not cooperate due to her age, I was told the situation was “too severe” and that she would need to be put under general anesthesia for crowns. This did not sit right with me, so I sought a second opinion elsewhere. The second dentist (smalltown dental) took X-rays and confirmed my child’s teeth are completely healthy and normal, with no cavities and no demineralization, and that no treatment was needed at all. (They were AMAZING) As a result, my child now has unnecessary permanent black staining on her front teeth from a treatment that should never have been done. I strongly encourage parents to ask questions, request X-rays when appropriate, and seek a second opinion before allowing aggressive treatments — especially on infants.
