Lynn has always gone “above and beyond” to ensure Mom is safe and well cared for. Many thanks to Lynn. Shannon is my Mom’s Saturday care pro. Shannon has a positive attitude that has helped my Mom to start the day with a smile. Shannon does a great job of balancing caring for Mom with performing household tasks. Many thanks to Shannon.

We love how much Dad enjoys having Joshua at his home not only to help him with activities of daily living, but also engages Dad in ways that have kept Dad active and healthier than he has been in years! Joshua makes heart healthy meals and my Dad loves his cooking. Joshua sends us notes on Dad's vitals as well as follows recommended physical activity. Were it not for Joshua my Dad would not have been able to attend the Cubs game with his friend a few weeks ago. Dad is open to trying new things more and the peace of mind we get from knowing Dad is safe is priceless! We feel we have hit the jackpot with Joshua getting paired up with our Dad. We knew we would be getting someone for Dad to help to keep him safe and well, but Joshua has done so much more than just that. He has become a friend to Dad and to us he is family. It can be so difficult when parents age to feel they are living well cared for and with dignity...and Joshua has elevated this experience for us by leaps and bounds. We trust him (invaluable), Dad enjoys him (companionship) and I can't remember the last time I felt this hopeful about Dad aging gracefully in the way he deserves. - CDChris DevyorJun 18, 20245.0I struggled to come to terms that I cannot be at Mom’s 24 hours a day. I checked out several places but nothing compared to Home Instead. I was worried that my Mom might not connect with her Care Pros then we met Susan! It was like Mary Poppins came into our lives. The positivity that Susan shares, her smiling face brightens my Mom’s mood when Susan comes in. I can see a trust that my Mom has built with Susan and my mind is put at ease when Susan comes to be with my Mom because she cares for my Mom just like I do! Care Pro Nordia is also very compassionate and gentle. My mind is at ease as Nordia helps my Mom with her needs such as meals and assisting in her daily tasks. We really feel that Mom is in safe hands with Nordia as well. We like talking to Nordia and learning different things about her. We really enjoy that Nordia joins us for our Saturday night Uno games too! Care Pro Lynn has a positive attitude as do Susan and Nordia. Lynn is also caring and since the day my Mom met Lynn, Mom feels Lynn is like an old friend she has known for years. Their bond is unbreakable. I love coming in to visit and seeing Lynn and my Mom talking and laughing together, it helps me to know she has a great bond with Lynn too. Titilayo is also a wonderful Care Pro. Titi does an amazing job of keeping my Mom on schedule with all her daily needs. Her care for others shines through daily! Care Pro Maddie’s passion is evident in her Care for others. My Mom feels secure with Maddie as well and has wonderful conversations with Mom. Every time I walk I see my Mom and Maddie discussing different topics and I can see Maddie truly has an interest in my Mom by the way she listens to Mom. All the Care Pros are not just Care Pros for our family, we feel like they are family. From celebrating my Mom’s birthday to having dinner with us, the Care Pros truly are wonderful people who are making a difference in not only my Mom’s life but in our family’s life. I cannot thank Susan, Lynn, Nordia, Titilayo and Maddie enough for all they have done for my Mom and all of my family. Without you ladies and without Home Instead we would truly be lost. Thank you!
