  My mom's caregiver Kathy is a very caring CNA. She assist her with daily activities, such as morning shower and getting dressed. She is also very encouraging when mom completes her exercises and rides her stationary bike. Kathy is also great with meal preparation and snacks. Excellent cleaner of moms house. Great sense of humor, and very friendly to mom and family members. Thank you Kathy for all that you do to help mom!

  I reached out to this Home Instead location looking for short‑term help for an elderly parent, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing enough that we never even got to try the service. The biggest problem was the long list of restrictions and minimums required just to get started. They require a minimum number of hours, minimum number of weeks or months, and if you only need temporary care, they add extra fees on top of everything else. It became clear very quickly that they are set up for long‑term, high‑commitment clients, not families who simply need brief or transitional support. The process felt onerous, expensive, and inflexible, and it seemed like short‑term elderly care just isn’t profitable enough for them to bother accommodating. Instead of helping us bridge a temporary situation, they pushed us toward a much larger financial commitment than we needed. If you’re looking for temporary or occasional care, this is not the place. The restrictions and costs make it impractical unless you’re prepared to go all‑in and spend a lot more than what short‑term help should reasonably require.

  The care givers, Maddie, Bernadette, and Theia, have become like family. They are very caring and empathetic towards my mom and help brighten each day.

  If you are considering other options, look no further. From the moment I called and spoke to Carli, there was nothing but genuine care and compassion. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions to really understand the situation, and partnered with us to meet those needs. When you have questions, they are easy to contact and stay in communication with you. It is evident this company matches their caregivers with your loved one’s personality. Our caregivers Tarra and Violet quickly made a connection and were both fantastic. It takes a very special person to be able to trust with your loved ones and do this type of care. Home Instead does not disappoint.
