  I do not recommend Home Instead and it is not a problem with the caregivers but with the Management. They send caregivers that have not been properly trained and/or are not provided all the information they need to be successful. I have a timeline of problems dating back to May and have had phone calls, text messages and a face to face meeting but Management does not do resolve the issues. It was recommended to me by 3 different agencies that I talk to the owner but when I asked for a meeting or a phone call with the owner I was told by the local and district managers that I could not talk to him. I love the regular caregivers but when they send someone new we have problems and it is only because they are not provided adequate info. I have offered to be there when someone new comes but the management is now suggesting I find another caregiver agency. The management is unable to problem solve and create success plans and there is no avenue for providing feedback on the management to the owner so do not use them until they can resolve management issues.

  I could not be more impressed with Home Instead if I tried! I critically needed their services for my aging parents as they transitioned from their own home, to independent living, and then to assisted living. They were there for end-of-life with my father (thank you Roger, you were a God-send) and they helped as my mother progressed through losing her husband and transitioned to her own newly discovered life goals (thank you BJ, you were a God-send). Every time my parents needed assistance, Home Instead was there. Every time I needed information or assistance, the home office in Clarksville was attentive, professional, timely, and informative (thank you Elizabeth, you and your team are top-notch). I give this testimony willingly in that I would recommend Home Instead to any person critically needing help with Mom and Dad as the needs may get beyond your own scope and abilities; I have no regrets and nothing but warm memories to depend on due to their caring and empathetic assistance.

  We switched our caregiving agency in April 2025. I continually am affirmed that we made the right decision. I have been asking my dad over the past five years to exercise. He would hear me, but would not follow through on it. Kenita is one of the caregivers from Home Instead. She clearly understands the importance of movement and exercise. She was able to convince my dad to go to the YMCA to get signed up for silver sneakers and has been helping him Exercise and Increases mobility through walking, using equipment and classes! She has left messages for other caregivers on how to help him. She has inspired April, Trina, Patsy to help enable him with his exercises. Grateful for Kenita taking the lead!

  We have had an excellent experience for the last year with care-taker Jane. She has taken excellent care of my mother-in-law for the last year. She has delivered care with kindness, gentleness and enthusiastic energy. Highly recommend!
