  When my physician referred me to a dermatologist, I requested to be referred to a female doctor. I was told that was no problem and was referred to Core Dermatology. I was assured that I would be seen by a female doctor and was told the woman there are wonderful (I have nothing against male doctors, but I am more comfortable being seen by a female). I showed up this morning, checked in, and was soon brought back to a room. The nurse was very nice and went over what I was being seen for, and then said "he will be in shortly." I was a little uncomfortable finding out that I was actually seeing a male, when I specifically requested to be referred to a woman. However, when Dr. Evans came in, he was very professional and easy to talk to. I felt like he really listened and took the time to discuss everything with me. I would definitely recommend him.

  When I was referred here, I checked the reviews online and was really worried. If it wasn't I'd seen other reviews on the doctor himself were good, I'd not have scheduled. When I went for my appointment this morning, I wondered what I was getting myself into. After my experience today, I am confused by previous reviews. The reception area and offices are clean, have pleasant displays of skin care products and information available for review. I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff. I was so nervous, I'd put the appointment in on the wrong date on my calendar. The front desk staff said it was no problem. They had a canceled appointment this morning and she'd get me in. She sent me a link to fill out the necessary pokerwork on my phone while I waited. (paper form is also available). The nurse called me back. She was wonderful! Very friendly and answered all my questions. The doctor promptly came in, he was also friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. He looked at the areas of concern I had, (two moles) and explained to me in detail what it was and that there was no need for removal as previously suggested by my G.P. What a relief! I'm glad I didn't go by what was previously written here about this office and made the appointment with them here. 10 out of 10, highly recommend. Even scheduled a follow up appointment in a year!

  If I could leave 0 stars I would! They made me drive my dad all the way to Peoria because we were told that his original plastic surgeon wouldn't work on him. I have since contacted said plastic surgeon whom informed me that it was completely untrue and would happily work on him again (4 blocks from home vs 1.5 hours). Soderstrom simply wants the money that their surgeon gets because they don't get money if he is sent to another surgeon. Moline office has scheduled him appointments and then when we show up the office is closed. The doctors are never the same so you don't receive good care.

  I go here yearly for skin cancer screenings every year great service and nice folks. This is for the Davenport location.
