- MBMark BuckleyJan 23, 20261.0Men’s locker room is a total joke. They moved old broken down lockers from Granite City and then said new ones are on order for the last two years. Half of them don’t even lock and Management has no interest in providing new lockers. Although they did provide new lockers in the women’s locker room. Plus, they spent funds to remodel the front desk area, resurface floors in exercise, room, etc., but left the men’s locker room a disaster. Seems like they spend money on everything but providing the men secure lockers in the locker rooms. Complete mismanagement. If you’re a man, don’t take anything valuable into the locker room, because even lockers with padlocks on them can be easily opened. Nice to know that men don’t get fair treatment at this location. Too bad the staff aren’t making the decisions as they are all wonderful. NOTE TO COLLINSVILLE YMCA MANAGEMENT: please reply to this review and tell me I’m wrong and that new lockers are in fact on the way and give an ETA of when they will arrive. It will never happen.
